Terms & Conditions

By participating in the Plantation Family Loyalty Program, applying for Membership, becoming a Member, using the Membership Number or accepting or redeeming any of the benefits, the Member:

• agrees that they have read and understood the Loyalty Program Terms and Conditions;
• agrees to be bound by these Loyalty Program Terms and Conditions; and
• consent to Direct Marketing and processing of your Personal Information in accordance with these Loyalty Program Terms and Conditions.

These Loyalty Program Terms and Conditions are effective as at the Effective Date and may be amended from time to time.

Certain Benefits offered to Members may only be available where the Member has:

• Booked directly with Plantation Island Resort; and/or
• been issued a Membership Number no less than 24 hours prior to check-in.

It is the Members responsibility to enter, provide and/or login using the Membership Number to obtain the Benefits.

These Loyalty Program Terms and Conditions apply to all Members and govern the Plantation Family Loyalty Program.

Additional terms and conditions may apply to the redemption of Benefits (for example Plantation Island Resort’s Booking Terms and Conditions  will apply to any accommodation booked by a Member or Internet Terms and Conditions will apply to use of internet supplied).

A Member agrees that each time the Member redeems or claims a Benefit or uses the Membership Number they agree to the Loyalty Program Terms and Conditions current at that time.

Plantation Island Resort does not warrant or represent that the Plantation Family Loyalty Program will have perpetual existence.

Plantation Island Resort may terminate or suspend part or the whole of the Plantation Family Loyalty Program at any time.

Thirty (30) days’ notice will be provided to Members should Plantation Island Resort decide to terminate the Plantation Family Loyalty Program at any stage. Members will be notified via email and on our website

By applying to become a Member the individual agrees that they have read, understand and agree to these Loyalty Program Terms and Conditions.

Membership in the Plantation Family Loyalty Program is available to individuals who:

• are eighteen (18) years of age or older;
• provide valid and accurate Personal Information when applying;
•  are not already a Member;
• are not otherwise precluded from becoming a Member in these Loyalty Program Terms and Conditions.

Acceptance of a Member in the Plantation Family Loyalty Program will occur upon Plantation Island Resort issuing the Member with a Membership Number.

Members may update their Personal information by contacting the Plantation Island Resort Reservations Team.

Memberships are not transferable.

Only a Member is entitled to the Benefits associated with the Plantation Family Loyalty Program, unless these Loyalty Program Terms and Conditions provide that the Benefits extend to other than the Member.

The Benefits are offered on the condition that the Member provides evidence of their Membership and/or inserts their Membership ID Number at the time of making a booking or redeeming the Benefit.

Members may cancel their Membership by contacting the Plantation Island Resort Reservations Team.

Certain Benefits are only available where the Member has Booked directly with Plantation Island Resort. These Loyalty Program Terms and Conditions set out which Benefits only apply where the Member has Booked directly with Plantation Island Resort.

Members are offered certain Benefits which may be varied by Plantation Island Resort from time to time, without prior notice.

Further terms and conditions may apply to Benefits in addition to these Loyalty Program Terms and Conditions.

Subject to any limitations set out in these Loyalty Program Terms and Conditions the Food and Beverage Benefit is available to all Members of the Plantation Family Loyalty Program who have stayed at Plantation Island Resort before.

Members are eligible to receive the Food & Beverage Voucher which can be utilized are certain Food & Beverage outlets at the Resort.

The purpose of the Plantation Family Loyalty Program is to provide a benefit to approved Members. Membership to the Plantation Family Loyalty Program cannot be purchased, transferred or used for commercial benefit. The room rates accessible to Members apply only to bookings for genuine personal use by you and the people staying with you. Bookings made through your Membership with Plantation Family Loyalty Program cannot be on-sold or transferred to another person.

If requested, photographic identification matching the name on the booking must be shown on check-in or at the time of redemption of a Benefit.

If a booking or redemption of a Benefit is not made for genuine personal use, or if, upon request, photographic identification matching the name on the booking is not shown on check-in or the redemption of a Benefit, the booking may be cancelled and you may be liable to pay liquidated damages equal to the full booking amount plus any other costs incurred by Plantation Island Resort in connection with the booking, as compensation for breach of these terms and conditions. Any pre-payment will be forfeited to Plantation Island Resort as liquidated damages under this term.

Plantation Island Resort sometimes includes third party products or services in special packages. Plantation Island Resort is not liable under any circumstances for any failure by third party providers to provide products or services, nor for any error, alteration or change of any kind made by those third party providers following acceptance of a booking by them.

All third party coupons, vouchers, receipts and tickets are issued subject to the terms and conditions specified by those third parties.

Plantation Island Resort does not warrant the accuracy of any information, statements or representations made by third parties. Plantation Island Resort is not liable for any act, omission, default or negligence of any third party provider.

To the extent it is lawfully able, the Member releases and holds harmless Plantation Island Resort and its current and former officers, employees and agents for any loss, damage or Claim of any kind arising out of the Plantation Family Loyalty Program, the Loyalty Program Terms and Conditions and the Benefits including but not limited to consequential or economic loss, occurrences or conditions beyond its control, terrorism, act of God, war, strikes, theft, delay, cancellation, civil disorder, disaster or Government regulations

Plantation Island Resort may make changes to the Plantation Family Loyalty Program, Loyalty Program Terms and Conditions or the Benefits in its discretion.

If Plantation Island Resort deem the changes to be material, Plantation Island Resort will provide notification of the changes.

Members should review the current Plantation Family Loyalty Program Terms and Conditions before redeeming or applying for a Benefit.

The Member acknowledges and agrees to Plantation Island Resort providing marketing material to the Member via phone, post, email, text message or other digital means.

Plantation Island Resort will comply with its Privacy Policy when conducting activities https://www.plantationisland.com/privacy/

Plantation Island Resort is dedicated to safeguarding personal privacy. It recognises that individuals have a right to control how their personal information is collected and used. Plantation Island Resort will only collect and hold a Member’s personal information about you that is reasonable necessary to undertake our business activities and functions, including delivering access to the internet.

The Loyalty Program Terms and Conditions and Membership are governed by and will be construed in accordance with the laws of Fiji irrespective of where the application for the Membership has been completed by the Member or submitted to Plantation Island Resort and the Member submits to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of Fiji.

If part or all of any clause of these Loyalty Program Terms and Conditions is illegal, invalid or unenforceable then it will be read down to the extent necessary to ensure that it is not illegal, invalid or unenforceable, and where that is not possible, the offending clause (or part thereof), will be severed from these Loyalty Program Terms and Conditions and the remaining provisions of these Loyalty Program Terms and Conditions will continue to have full force and effect.
