About Cloud 9
What does Cloud 9 have to offer?
Food and drinks available
Cloud 9 Fiji offers a fully stocked bar with international beverages alongside local favourites including Fiji Gold, Fiji Bitter and Fiji Rum Co. Hand-made cocktails, smoothies and bottled drinks are also available for purchase.
Italian wood-fired pizzas are prepared fresh on board by a local chef, with options available for vegetarian and gluten-free guests. Pizzas are hand rolled and topped to order, making them easy to share while enjoying lagoon views.
Music and atmosphere
On weekends, Cloud 9 hosts international and local DJs with music selected to suit the open-water surroundings. During weekdays, a custom playlist sets the tone throughout the afternoon, creating a relaxed and uplifting mood.
The atmosphere is laid-back and welcoming, with space to unwind on the sun deck, enjoy the sound of the water, and linger in a unique and memorable setting.
Cloud 9 Amenities
Cloud 9 Fiji offers a comfortable, two-level floating space with:
- Fully stocked bar
- Wood-fired pizza kitchen
- Reclining day beds
- Hanging chairs
- Tables and benches
- Shaded seating areas
- Environmentally friendly marine toilets
Guests can move freely between shaded areas and open deck space, choosing their own pace for the afternoon.
Water sports
Swimming at Cloud 9 is a highlight in itself. Guests can jump straight into the clear waters from the dedicated swim and jump deck, making it easy to cool off, float, or swim while enjoying uninterrupted views of the Mamanuca Islands.
Limited snorkelling equipment is available on board, so we recommend our guests borrow snorkelling equipment from the Activities Bure. This allows guests to explore the surrounding reef system near Ro Ro Reef. The calm, turquoise water offers good visibility, with coral formations and a variety of reef fish commonly seen just below the surface. You may also spot rays, turtles or schools of tropical fish.
Additional water activities such as jet skis, paddle boards and parasailing may be available to book, subject to conditions and availability. All water sports must be arranged at least two days prior to your Cloud 9 trip. For current options and bookings, please speak with the Plantation Island Resort team.
